ummmmm no thanks on the ls..so i asked her if she was in drive or overdrive and she said she didnt know but when we went out there i showed where the green od light would light up and she said it was on so she did drive it with the overdrive off..god knows how long and she was going at least...
yea was doing some research and it sounds like dipstick o -ring but it wouldnt explain the top of the dipstick inlet tube being soaked along with when i pulled the dipstick it was all crusty at the top guessing burnt fluid and when she came home it looked like there was so much pressure it poped...
its hard to see back there but it really looks like its coming from the dipstick..dosent leak when cars off or its just so little and it really smells like tranny fluid not coolant pretty easy to tell the differnce in smells.the fluid is isnt low so its not leaking alot.
me and her already had that talk :) and i do belive her and she pointed out exactly where she poured it in(resavoir) and showed me exactly what she used(pre mixed 50/50 coolant)
she promises she didnt touch the transmission or add anything besides coolant to the resavoir.so i do belive her we have been together for 3 years and are getting married next summer..but it just seems odd that it she added coolant and now somethings broke!
