I have an 01 ls v6 and I just changed the DCCV. The problem I am having is I am only getting heat on the drives side. Ran self test and got all 8's. Bled system per instructions. The DCCV is brand new. Any suggestions?

Well joe the valve is in the car but i have no heat. I was given another valve and i wanna test it to see if it works by unplugging the at the connection on the fan shroud and plug it into the other valve i was given to test it to see if it is working. I want to test it before i put it in.

So i should hear it when i plug it up

For anyone out there I have a theoretical question. On a 01 ls v6 If the DCCV is removed from the car and then plugged in should you hear it kick on when plugged up and off when unplugged if it is working? If nothing is heard does that mean the DCCV is bad?

I have an 01 v6 ls and the horn, cruise control, trunk release stopped working. Also, air bag light has a 3 2 blink before it stays on. I need to replace the clockspring but i was wondering if there are any pics on Lincoln vs Cadillac of what the clockspring looks like?

Did a test on DCCV. The results are as follows: between 1-2 I get a reading of 15.4 between 1-3 I get a reading of 30.7 between 2-3 I get a reading of 15.5 Any explanations on these readings? does it sound like I might have a problem with on of the selenoids?

I changed the upper radiator hose which has the tee. This may sound like a dumb question but isn't the coolant that comes out of the bleeder valve at the degas bottle coming from the heater core? And if so the coolant is hot.

if heater core is clogged would the hoses at the firewall to the heater core be hot? Mine are cold. In fact the hose at the tee is not hot nor the hoses going into the dccv

I pulled the dccv, cleaned it and replaced the t-stat and upper radiator hoses. bled system but still no heat. Any sugesstions? note. when I bleed system I get steady stream from bleed valve at the degras bottle

yes only when the compressor is on.

the hiss is coming from the center dual vent inside the car.
