For anyone out there I have a theoretical question. On a 01 ls v6 If the DCCV is removed from the car and then plugged in should you hear it kick on when plugged up and off when unplugged if it is working? If nothing is heard does that mean the DCCV is bad?

I have a 01 ls v6 which I changed the radiator in recently. Aside from having a no heat issue now I am getting a loud hiss when I turn the heat on. Oddly enough, it only hisses when I turn the ac button on. If I turn it off the hiss stops. Anyone know anything about this?

Does anyone know where to get a repair manual that shows how to repair the hydraulic fan on my 01 ls. This car runs hot when I turn the ac on but not with normal driving and the ac off. I never hear the fan spin faster when the ac is turned on. Any sugesstions on what to look for?
