I have a 97LSC with HID's. I also have a 98 parts car, also with HID's. However, the headlight housings are slightly different. The 97 says the headlamp cannot be disconnected, while the 98 has a round push in electrical connector for the HID housing (it says HID on the housing, 12.8v)...

I drive with my cruise control on a lot, and lately the car has spent a lot of time hunting for a gear around 40mph. I didn't think that was too odd, until the car started bucking every once in a while going up hills with the cruise on. So I disengaged the cc, but now it has started to buck...

Not a Mark VIII problem, but it could be. :) I have a 2002 Mustang, and one of the pistons on the front caliper appears to be sticking (based on the wear pattern of the pad). Is there a way to free up the pistons, or is time to replace the caliper itself? I haven't done much with brakes...

I was surprised by how much I was able to get off the parts car today, which leads me to believe I'm about ready to pull the engine out of the car. I'm looking to rebuild the engine, not necessarily mod it. It has 186k on it, so the question is which parts can be reused without worry, and...

I'm reading (with great interest) a thread about spark plugs shooting out of the heads of our engines. And I'm wondering, is this a common problem or is it a once in a while problem common to all aluminum head engines? And then I'm wondering, if it's common, why isn't it in the Tech section...
