    Turn signal relay

OK so I swapped out the both brake lights on both sides the amber and mini bulbs up front and wow they were bright, no missing that car at night when turning or in the middle of the day for that matter. Then coincidentally the battery dies before I get a chance to show my lady, its her daily...

    PATS or complete death? Solved

then again, if you have access to an NGS tester, you can check most everything thru the DLC. Ain't electronics wonderful? it's software that drives me up the alley. 97/98 was the start of ford putting product specific codes into the PCM systems and using the communications buss and related...

    Too many choices HID kit.

I'm saying the same thing I did before. Your two legal, proper, and plug-n-play choices are: 1. Used HID bulb from ebay. I don't know why you are so adverse to even trying it. HID bulbs if not physically damaged usually last a very long time. The factory ones in my 06 LS are still going...

    Too many choices HID kit.

So your saying that I will never be able to drive at night anymore and the HID kit being sold on this site is illegal. Even a currenly manufactured HID single beam is illegal? I won't pay Ebay prices for a used lightbulb only to have the same problem a month later. Here in New Mexico all classic...

    Too many choices HID kit.

I feel you we still have yet to get the driver side headlight assembly we bought off eBay there's a big gaping hole where the headlight assembly is supposed to be to be honest I don't care if they're illegal bulbs or not if they help me see I'm using them

    Too many choices HID kit.

I do feel for you here. No, they are absolutely correct. It is true, it is the only correct way forward. Here's the problem. Your reflectors in you headlight assemblies were designed for a specific bulb. They only work correctly with that bulb. The headlights are only DOT certified to...

Comment by 'xtriggerman' in article 'G2 Trunk florecent mod to 1157's and Repair snaped off housing mounting studs'

If I had to do this again, I would consider a different approach now that I stumbled into what looks like a easier fix. I had to recently install newer kitchen under the cabinet LED lighting and bought this set up. Under Cabinet LED Lighting Kit Plug in,6 pcs 12 Inches Cabinet Light Strips, for...

    Too many choices HID kit.

If you are missing a headlamp, error message is understandable. Found out the in line ballast on these Stark bulbs is the culprit that is causing my error message. Once your headlamp is installed, your error message should cease.

    Too many choices HID kit.

Hello, I recently purchased a set of "Stark" LED bulbs for my 95 Mark VIII. They are a 3 sided bulb with the fan at the base, they work great! But a error message "check exterior lights"displays on the DIC when I turn on the lights. I push the reset button, error message goes away, I repeat this...

Which headlight once and for all?

I assumed he was referring to the Mark VIII, which only came with DC HIDs. It's very hard to find bulbs for that car, since they are no longer made. If it really is the Mark VII, then there's no reason for the question since those bulbs are everywhere.

Which headlight once and for all?

If you are referring to our Lincoln Mark VIIs produced from 1984 to 1992, they left the factory with series 9004 halogen bulbs. They are readily available over the counter from your local AdvanceNapaO'rielyZone.

Which headlight once and for all?

I don't know that you have any other DOT approved options other than: 1. Used HID-9500 bulbs on ebay. 2. Ford halogen retrofit kit for the VIII.

    HID question

I have no experience with HID bulbs at all, every car I've ever owned I've swapped the halogens for xenons, so I ask all you experts is the HID bulb that I pulled from my shattered housing still good or am I looking at another 100 bucks, I'd love to use morimoto leds but I don't think that is...

    Gas gauge ... calibrate?

Seems like it would be more likely to be a problem with one of the connectors to the instrument cluster. It could be a bad ground connection. Maybe the cluster is grounding through the backlight bulbs, but it can't do that when power is switched on to the bulbs. Find and restore the missing...

Adding A Little More Auto Dim To The Rearview Mirror

Doesn't mean they'll do it right. Kentucky recently banned lights that are too blue. Guess what... that was already regulated and wasn't the source of the problem anyway. Illegal bulbs are (and since they're illegal, that means they're already regulated) But they don't. It's too difficult to...

Adding A Little More Auto Dim To The Rearview Mirror

OEM lights are getting bad too, though. Ford Explorer/Fusion LED projectors and Honda LED reflectors glare like crazy. Many other projectors of all types are aimed way too high from the factory (LED Corollas and Range Rovers come to mind). Owners have no idea they're causing a problem

Or... Is it because more and more people are putting aftermarket LEDs in place of halogen headlight bulbs?

1995 Lighting and air suspension lines

Ok an update. At the junkyard, the 96 lights were the same as the 95. They just used normal 9005 bulbs. No "HID". And they were more faded than mine. I should have got the driver side anyway because mine must have some broken mount since it wiggles left to right. I had a fancy 9005 bulb in my...
