What about the O/D button? I did move my O/D to just above the cigarette light on a push button toggle switch, not much further the the shifter and I don't even notice it.

Mine had a miss kind of like how yours from how it sounds, I replaced the wires and one coil pack so far most of the miss is gone. Only difference I see is I have no hesitation and it still has power.

Other then the coils packs, plug wires, vacuum tee and a few other vacuum lines going bad, maybe it didn't hurt. I just didn't like the fact the entire front was open to the rain that could get in the MAF.

I drilled the front of my box, and within 1,000 miles it started to run weird. Now the box has duct tape over the holes until I get unlazy and make it to a junk yard.
