Destruction can be fun! All good things must come to an end - I'll be posting some pictures of the car coming apart. To see what kind of secrets can be found from my first drag racing/nitro spraying car. It has been a wonderful learning experience on a truly great American car. A lot of my hot...
3 tunes are on it already. You can retune it. Is capable for more than three. Email me for more info or pics. Selling/parting my car.
Asking 250 shipped obo for both pieces. (chip and attachment. I bought this from someone who had a mustang so apprently it's pretty much for obd-1 fords.
I had...
A buddy of mine has a mustang with the roof you can unlatch and remove. I am not terribley sure what you call this but it would be an excellent project since I have the ugly rag tap.
I know it will leak and the frame will be weakened up... But has anyone ever attempted or thought about...
Anyone make them? I think i may hack up stock headlights and see what kind of newer technology i can stick in there. I am thinking Ellipsoidal lenses would be neat, since they are very headlights. i can't see anything at night even with the high beams.
that or ill try and see if i can...
My head unit got ripped off so i put the stock one back in and figured I could use my mp3 power to play music through the tap player (the reception sucks and dont wanna shell out 80 bucks right now for a good one, ide rather just get another head unit at that).
Heres what it does:
1. When...
well luckily they didn't break the window, because i forgot to lock the car - my drivers side door was open. (car down the street was not so luckily glass all over the place). But the stooped theif took my power inveter that plugs in the rear cig lighter but not the cable (it was plugged in!)...
Ok I put variable rate Moog springs in my car instead of the lowered stuff. The front is A ok, but the rear still sits pretty low. I am going to double check on this today because I think maybe I put the spring upside down (but I doubt I did because IIRC the spring will only really sit in the...
Strutmasters lowered kit damaged some stuff on my car - the evap system on my car (charcoal canister) but also the cruise control. The tire was hitting the top of the driverside fender pretty bad and snapped this cable as I was turning. Its metal - I thought it was the hood release cable at...
Got to the track an hour and a half before it closed. I didn't take my system out or any of the other tons of crap that I have accumulated in my car. It was kind of a spur of the moment thing.
1. Nothing broke! So i'm doing better then the first time I went.
2. No spray, didn't have enough...
Okay did like 10 pulls on the dyno today if not more.
1. Base tune on car not heat soaked it put down 237whp! Was able to lock it up with the sct software in third.
After that it fell to about 223 or so after it got heat soaked.
2. New best 254whp/255 tq
then did the spray, i think...
I got 764's in my car they have about 10k on them. Car doesn't feel like it used to... I'm obviously going to change them out asap but how often do you guys with coppers change them out? Oh yea on a sidenote my cars pulling 21 psi at idle, that about right?
I'm in the market for new shocks and mounts. Bilstein lists cobra or tbird, they come with poly top shock mounts I believe. Cobra seems to be very popular but I thought it was because Bilstein only made them for Cobra. Since our cars are so similar to Tbird (weight in mind).
The Cobra ones...
ok i know this is gonna sound wierd (I think) but when I have my wheel turned say all the way to the left and give it drive it a lil but my cars front end feels like its hoping a lil bit. Its been doing this since I got an alignment done recently I believe, but I just started to notice it more...
