Door Jamb Switch

I meant to post the pics of this last week but forgot. I installed a new switch on the drivers side about 3 weeks to a month ago because that switch had went bad and a new Motorcraft switch sent to the door is only $8.56 and the problem was fixed. After that, I went ahead and ordered one for the passengers side, just so that I would know both were new switches. Anyway, all you need is a 16mm socket and that's it. Pics below.

Loosen and pull the switch out.

Disconnect old switch

Connect new switch.

Thread new one in and tighten. Finished.

When i first saw this i thought it was the other switch in the door. the one thats a really pain in the ass. nice to know that this one is super simple to fix. i was about to say holy hell where did ya find one for 8.95 then i realized it was a different switch. thanks for sharing up the pictures and how easy the door jamb switch is
 
Dont drop the plug back into the car though thru the lil hole! It is a royal PITA to fish back out if you do, ask me how I know ;)
