Got the new alt plug today. I replace the old one and bingo problem solved. Thanks for the help.

I’ll have the new alt. tested tomorrow and I also bought a new harness alt. plug. The terminals seem loss and worn out. Does someone know why the batt. light turns off in the dash if the alt. plug is unplugged while the car is running?

New motorcraft batterie 2 months old. Both batt. poll where disconnect during installation . Worked great the day before.

Thanks for the reply. The only part that does not work is the right side worn screw. Left side works fine. I'll retry next weekend. Do you know were I can get bushings for the rear strut bar?
