right. I'm going to buy my ls in October. I'll look for a place that's able to flash the pcm. if not I'll look for a premium (sport suspension and non-sst shifter). worst case ill get a sport with sst. thanks for the help

I think you have to use d5 or smash the gas past 60% throttle to kick down to first. I just want more control over the cars gear selection. I would like to be able to come to a stop, shift the car to 1 and take off in first gear. I just don't want to have to pass the sport model up over...
