Update again, finished chopping out the garbage aftermarket alarm system, after doing all that, the cluster now works, but I now don't have a backlight. This is a step in the right direction. Feels like so close but yet so far.

So as I found out, fuse 15 was blown, that only runs the advancetrac switch and the cluster, I replaced it with another 5 amp fuse and it just blew again. Internal damage in the cluster or a frayed wire somewhere. Does anyone have any ideas?

I did a lot of searching, both through google and on here and I cannot for the life of me find a decent diagram explaining all the pins going into the amplifier for the THX system! I have a 2004 Navigator that already has a decent sound system, factory sub and all those goodies, but I'm missing...

It was some damn good trickery. If they hadn't pushed their luck, they would've been fine. Also, can coil issues cause corruption of ECU data? For some reason, my LS is telling me that the ECU isn't vin matched to the car. Its annoying.

I'll figure it out eventually, and I DO NOT want aftermarket, I'm perfectly happy with the way the system is (minus the no aux in). Aftermarket head units are too fiddly too, I can't find one I like.

I'd still take my LS over their charger. They have a 2015 model with the 5 speed auto. Doesn't help that the car is the basest of the base. I think they bought it for just under 25k when it was new. I was pushing for them to go the VW tdi route, but fat american families don't do that.

The dodge charger isn't a bad car, neighbors have one. Interior is kinda cheap and there isn't much exhaust noise. From something that's support to appear muscular, it sure doesn't seem like it. To be honest, their minivan could probably outrun it too...

It wouldn't surprise me at all if it was the module. All the electronics on this car seem to go to hell at some point in time. The motor sounds like it's working, and at some point in the brake application cycle, the noise changes pitch, so I assume it's tensioning the cables. We shall see.

Cables then? Hopefully the LS I saw in the junkyard is still there. May pillage for more parts while I'm at it.
