    being told to abandon ride

Im in the same boat as you. My radiator had a crack which made my engine overheat, and now I have a blown headgasket. I took it to a DIY guy across the street. He told me that you could replace the head gasket by removing the radiator, disconnecting the transmission, then pushing the engine...

Mark VIII 97-98 Gen 2 front bumpers

Its hard finding these front bumpers in junkyards. All of the GEN 2's I find are always wrecked. Plenty of perfect GEN 1's though. Sometimes I wish I had a GEN 1 just because its much easier to find parts for.

Looks like Im going to have to clean mine by hand too. 3rd seafoam treatment and I still got issues. Car smokes likes crazy afterwards too. Iev read that you should keep seafoaming until no smoke comes out of the exhaust. I just dont see that happening.

So the plan is to remove the entire windshield wiper system (plastic cover an all) so that I can stick my hand down the back of the engine and plug that SOB in? Im going to try that tomorrow morning.

Thanks for the advice! Im going to go do it now. I hope this can help someone else with the same problem one day. I always search for answers first then I make a topic. The thread name is pretty specific so it should be able to be easily found in the future.

Drivers Side O2 Sensor Removal GEN 2

I couldnt get the nub on the back of the head to pop off with a screwdriver so I just removed the sensor from the exhaust manifold and tugged on the wire and it until it came loose. It is still way to far up there to unplug with my hand so Im going to use the screwdriver method you described...
