Mine were super gummed up and I also had the same code in the PCM with no MIL light on. I took off the intake and the IMRC's put them in a solvent tank at work and scrubbed the :q:q:q:q out of them with brake clean and a brush. You can try and soak them with Seafoam before removing them...
