Just bought a 98 f-150. My old hoopty blew a head gasket so I had to get another beater for work. It has a bench seat with the fold down center console. But I would prefer if I can get bucket seats. Tan is the color now and they're leather. I don't necessarily need leather seats though.

I think the tranny just blew in Barney this morning on the way to work. I made it to work. Now it's getting the car home is probably going to be a problem. 2/3 cars that I have are out of service.

Someone at work told me to disconnect the battery and let the computer reset. So I did that and as of now the car is back to normal. Thanks for all the help

Just left to go to lunch. Started car up and it's idling high. Put it in gear and it's just Jumping into gear. When your driving you don't have hit the gas it just takes off. It's never done this until today.

Yeah that's the truth there boss. But you'll get a kick out of this we have an 05 navigator and on our way to loading it up for Hershey park and we had to jump the truck. I tested the volts on the battery and it read 14.2 with the truck running.

Barney is home. I went and bought a new battery. I'm sure the alternator is done but it's not moving until the weekend. So it's running real good now. I'm gonna test the alternaor after I eat dinner here.

Battery tested right at 12. But the car does not start. I'll leave battery disconnected for 30 minutes. I did spray maf cleaner in car so I'll let thy dry and see what happens from here.

I got Some running around to do with the family first. When we get back from that I'll run back to work and check the electrical system. The only problem is I can't keep the car running once I start it. Maybe I also just got a bad egr valve. But once I get a chance today and I'll check the...
