Find a hydraulic shop. If they don't have it then they can tell you where to go. We have a couple places up here in mi that sell nothing but o-rings you would just have to have the old one and they would match it up for you. Hope it helps you
Power and ground go right to the battery. Rca's and remote are ran together. But that would cause the shift solenoid fuse to be pulled and the noise to go away. It would still have the noise. I think I'm going to put my roll out screen in and see if it has the issue also. If it doesn't than its...
Yes. There's a directed 5 channel amp. He told me he doesn't know if it will work or not but it's worth a try. Need the extra reserve anyway. Took two caps out because they were useless for me.
I got off the phone with him and he said he put one on and it didn't work. Its the only car he has ever seen do this in 15 years of installing systems. I'm going to put a second battery in it today (I'm hoping) and see if that helps.
I did a search and saw people saying a buzz sound in the speakers was from a bad ground or coils. Possible wire noise from the wires being close to the rca's. Mine was professionally installed and not low end. When the guy I bought it from picked it up it had noise when he drove it. My friends...
I had my first drive today in my ls.. Felt good. Little hesitant of idle but pulled hard. Found out why the guy blew the original engine up. The solenoid on the hydraulic pump is toast. Won't move or make any sound. So now I'm gonna do the electric fan swap. Thanks guys for the help....
Got it out and checked and it looks like I just toasted the front pump. There's some gauling on the tc but nothing in the fluid and the tc. Had a guy that did trannys for 18 years and stopped in 97 with me. And the skinny on it is just a front pump. Has anyone done the pump flow control valve...
Yup I figured that... I'm pretty sure I didn't seat the tc right. I have parts of the fly wheel that looks like it rubbed the block a bit. So I'm sure mark is right about not seating the converter right. I started getting the exhaust and driveshaft off so I'm hoping tomorrow I can have it out...
Well I'm gonna get on it as soon as I get home. We both totaled our trucks out a fee weeks ago and were borrowing one truck now and have only been able to replace the one. Figured this would replace mine. So thanks for the help guys. Is there an easy way to do this or am I going to be dropping...
For some reason my last post didn't post.... We didn't beat the tc on.. My aunt was turning the output shaft while I was pulling the tc back and putting it in till it seated all the way in or I guess I thought. If I just pull the tc nuts off and see if it has the .100-.125 thousands of play then...
When we got the tc onto the front pump my aunt was spinning the tail shaft while I was pulling out and trying to slide back on. It slide on easy when it went. We didn't beat on it or try clamping it in with the block trans bolts. If I unbolt the tc and check the play free play and its right then...
the tc had slipped off the inter spline and I had a time and a half to get it back on.. She slid all the way on and came out just a smidge to bolt on. I know what you mean by how Chevy's are but there's no room to check. It seems to be such a tight fit that it's either going to be on or not...
Hi guys. Been looking at all of the info here and it helped me with my engine swap on my 2000 ls8. But now I can't find help with my trans issue. I put a 2002 engine in my car that I bought with bad rod. We tooled around in the car till the rod blew out the side. Trans worked fine. Now that the...
