sounds like end links. They can cause some funky noises when they are shot. Cheap to replace too

Turns out that the connector was not connected all the way. I took it off, plugged it back in, and now everything is normal. I thought I plugged it all the way in though! Sorry for cluttering up the board with the same old questions.

I was thinking it could be the DATC myself, but I will go do some testing now based on your advice. I searched many times with google for the answer to this, hence why I replaced the DCCV, but none of the answers were sufficient for my situation. I have been searching for the answer to this...

Hey guys, 2001 Lincoln LS 3.9L I am getting 136* F air out of all my vents, at all times, even when the DATC is off. This is what I know: Ran DATC self test, replaced interior temp sensor. These are the DTC codes that are still showing up: 1242, 1265 These codes are for the cold...

It's actually my car ;) And I hate it, mostly. Just dug out the cluster panel bezel this morning looking for the interior temperature sensor, only to find a dangling harness... :shifty:
