Hey thanks LS4me for the info that it's the coils! Just got the ETC Engine Failsafe code myself today on my '04 LS V8. Took it right to the dealer and they appeared to be somewhat mystified by that code. Now I can be informed when I talk to the dealer tomorrow. Great to have this forum!

I've seen a couple of 03 Lses (V8s) with Ivory Pearlescent exterior with a kind of a medium grey interior - maybe it's called Dark Ash? Is this a common combination do you think? Do any of the 03s have very light color seats? Thanks.

Somebody else has already answered about the differences in hp among the model years. Use some of the websites to check the specs yourself. You'll also find some differences in interior trim and some minor differences in the way the interior console is laid out between the 02s and 03/04 models...
