    newbie with air ride question

Only if it needs to and yes 60 minutes after the ignition switch has been in the off position. It will lower the suspension just like you mentioned .......... if and only if needed. You're safe. At the 60 minute mark the entire systems goes inert.

    R414 freon???

Well, an air conditioning system does require a compressor that moves refrigerant through the system in an efficient manner. If a compressor shoots craps you contaminate the entire system and the orifice must be replaced (it's plugged tighter than a bull's butt during fly season), the system...

    R414 freon???

No experience with R414, I converted my '92 system to R-134a when I had to replace a FUBAR compressor along with the accumulator, orifice and all new seal rings throughout the entire system. The system will blow 32-38° air out of the vents all day long on a 100°+ day. So much for R-134a not...

    R414 freon???

Maybe before you add any refrigerant, you should fix the leak(s). There's but one reason the system is low. Do it correctly once instead of putting a band-aid that is going to fall off in no time. What's the problem with R414? It has a A1 safety classification. BTW, what's meanance? I...

    AIR/OILseparator?

Really? It will be the next thing I install, as soon as I finish the muffler bearings, high rise generator cam, high speed bumper bolts and curb feelers. I fail to understand it's purpose, if it has one.

    air ride

You have the diagram and you said "im [sic] pretty good with working on cars". I'm not going to explain how to do it. I wouldn't abet anyone doing that to a luxury car. Sorry. The only thing I would add is no new air lines are needed, just wiring. Town cars were built with coil springs in...

    air ride

Sure you could. All you have to do is control the compressor, vent solenoid and spring solenoids (2) in the correct sequences. But WHY? Here's the road map. Knock yourself out.

    My air is not working

A self-test of the EATC module will reveal nothing about the status of the HVAC blower motor and circuitry. You will need to troubleshoot the operation of the blower motor, BMSC (blower motor speed control) and associated wiring. It's also possible, but not probable, that the blower control...

Yes... the blend door actuator issue

That's not possible ! Glad you're riding in comfort ! The instrument panel does not need to be removed, only pulled back to gain access to the BDA. What's wrong there? Inoperative power windows? If so, it may possibly only need the drive clutch dogs replaced between the lift motor...
