I've just read about the variable intake system on the V6 engine and it may be that the intake manifold tuning valve (IMTV) may be stuck open. Any thoughts on this being the cause? Seems like that fits the bill here.

Need some help here please. My neighbor has an o3 LS v6 engine. It had a bad misfire last week, brought it into my shop and diagnosed it as a faulty MAF sensor. It was replaced and the misfire is gone. HOWEVER, the check engine light is back on, fault code indicating bank 2 cataylist...
