An S2k, with a decent driver should run 13.9-14.1@99-101 mph (AP2's are a bit quicker than AP1's). They are a full second or more faster than a Mark 8 and trap a few mph higher as well. The guy did not kow how to drive.

Granted you may have trapped 98 mph stock. Not many mark 8's trap that high. The norm is like 94-95, while the norm for the other cars are 99-100. Again, the drivers sucked.

If your stock and you kept up with both those cars. Then my friend, tell your buddies to learn how to drive stick. Both cars should easily put a few car lengths on you. Remember, both SRT-4 and S2K are as fast, if not, faster than a 99-04 Mustang GT. We all know a stock mark 8 is no match for...

There is nothing wrong with his car. He traps 98 mph and run's mid 14's, with his mods thats the norm i see on this site. Its just slow compared to other cars.:p

Would love too, but my Mark 8 friend does not want to do it. I think it has something to do with losing every race he has with someone.;) :p

You beat a bad driver. Simple as that, i could have my AC on with an extra passenger and still beat my friends modded Mark 8.

Just wanted to know if anyone has ran one yet? My buddy with his modded mark 8 keeps talking trash about another friends brand new SE-R. The SE-R supposively runs low 14's at 99+ mph. My friends Mark 8 is runs mid 14's at around 98 mph with some bolt ons. My money is on the SE-R...
