most likely. especially on those big bass hits that'll probably dim your headlights. a HO alternator really isn't too expensive. or get a capacitor..but those aren't really recommended as it's just a temporary solution to a bigger problem.. but then again, if you keep your gain down on the amp...

gain on the amp? not enough power? check RMS ratings of subs... not getting enough power to your amp? (wrong sized wiring) etc etc. every problem in audio has got an answer!
