Hawk3, has your starter problem gone away? I'm having a very similar problem with my 02 LS V8. The starter will just click occasionally. I have found letting it set for a few minutes to 1 hr it will normally start right up. Did tightening up the cable fix yours? Any help would be appreciated, Rick
