    98 LSC misfire

All of us at one time or another have that stick in your gut feeling when sudden engine failures present themselves, I wouldn't judge anyone... A scanner should tell you which cylinder is misfiring, and if you didn't overheat it I'd only fix the miss and do an oil change in the event the misfire...

    Car dies

Just my experience-crank sensors at speed are cooler since it gets a lot of air, but heat sink issue can cause it to get weird at lower speeds. No matter what, it is not going to throw a code and it is classic symptoms for a crank sensor-easy enough to do, if it takes a half hour you took your...

    Car dies

I'm going to guess your crank sensor is going bad, I've had a couple Mark VIII's with those exact symptoms and that was the fix.

    Engine noise on start up

Your oil filter should have an anti-drain back valve buy a good filter and see if that doesn't fix it.

    Frame on ground

Ive read these air ride problem posts for years and am again glad I quit coddling these unreliable systems for Strutmaster springs. Too many things go wrong, and if it leaks for any reason, the car becomes a planter. Drive it up onto 2x4's, install springs. You're done. Or fix it, and go...

    Frame on ground

Another slammed Mark VIII, I once drove mine on the PA turnpike for almost 100 nerve-racking miles slammed when a front bag blew out unexpectedly...

Could some of you guys help me troubleshoot this issue?

Clean 'em all out good first, then snug them up. Let us know how it works out.

Could some of you guys help me troubleshoot this issue?

If it were me i'd certainly try snugging the covers (after a well clean-up) to see if they still fill with oil. Can't hurt at this point.

    Good old IMRC gone bad.

i have a 96 and these are things you have to stockpile if you have a 96, it is the freak of all Marks...if IMRC is hung open, it needs to be parked until it is fixed. I have a few of both sides, they are hard to come by along with other 96-only vital parts. I've put about 20k on mine since...
