I think thats called dragin ass. My 00LS8 always leaves two black stipes of equal length and the ass end shifts to the left before it streightens out.

Mine does the same thing , but only after I flash it with an aftermarket tune. When using the factory tune it is fine. I figured there was something in the tune telling the fan to keep the engine cooler. It happens at start up so I know the engine isn't getting hot enough to activate it.

Bumper inserts mean base or premium. The premium has everything the sport does but has the inserts. So if you have the chrome inserts and a regular shifter, you have a base. There are other differences, such as suspention, but I don't know enough to be a reliable source.

Do all LS8 sports have trannie coolers? If not, how do I find out if mine has one?

They were selling them at Circuit City for a really good price. I can't remember exactly how much but I've installed hundreds of tv's and would still purchase those instead of doing it myself.

I just got the news from the stealership that the sway bar bushings are bad on the front end and they have to replace the whole sway bar. What's the difference between the old and new bars that requires it to be replaced instead of just replacing a $10 bushing? Will it ride better? Will...
