    What was everyone's first car?

'73 VW Super Beetle with the semi-auto transmission (What a wierd, complicated, stupid invention!) Bought in 1990 in my last year of HS. I wish I still had that car.

    Sloppy steering

My Mark V has VERY sloppy steering (I can turn about 1/4 without going anywhere). The car has sat for most of the last 2 years with an occasional run for about 20 to 30 minutes at a time about every 3 or 4 weeks. Any suggestions where to start looking?

    1979 Mark V Driver's Door Replacement

replaced both doors And it's a beeeotch of a job. The wiring is tricky, but once you get past that, it's pretty simple. I very strongly suggest renting a door jack to support the door. I used a couple of buddies and they haven't spoken to me since!

    Towncars in movies.

My favourite Town Car moment is in "Blind Date" when Bruce Willis' character is picked up from jail by his car-salesman brother-in-law (played by the late, great Phil Hartman) in a sweet late-eighties TC. The only problem is Bruce pukes in the glove compartment!

2000 Town Car Smashed By Police

Insurance?? Dude. I used to sell personal lines insurance a couple of years ago in Toronto. Generally speaking, your insurance company should pay to repair the car and then they will go after the police department, or the city, for the costs (a process called subrogation). If you...

    Hello from Bolton Ont.

To all Lincoln maniacs, North and South of the border! Hello Everyone! :I My father-in-law had one of the first V8 LS's that was available in Toronto, and he LOVED it! When the lease was up, he got an E-class Mercedes and got rid of it after about 2 months. It couldn't compare to the...
