Well Yeah i just went on ebay, found several engines with lower miles.. The vendor wanted 1250 OBO, i offered 750, 850 is what i cost shipped.- lookinglass

Replaced my engine. $800 used and shipped.
So i was on the forum about 2 months ago, replaced all the dreaded plastic cooling system junk... Well i developed a loud mechanical sound. Found a motor with 110k on ebay from a wrecked car. New engine is in and I'm back in biz. lol This car is so pretty. 90k on the odo, 110k on the motor. Glad...- lookinglass

Ticking and misfire after breaking fuel injection pressure sensor! I have a ticking sound could this be causing my issue?
I didn't fix the broken sensor it's $100... Thursday is payday and I will replace. I kind of just forgot how I broke the sensor because I was in such distraught about the noise that I forgot that I had to fix the sensor. Im not running or driving it. Waiting for taxes to arrive and get it looked at. Just forgot to mention I broke that sensor and I realize that sometimes misfires can sound mechanical.- lookinglass

If i broke my fuel rail pressure regulator sensor on the ps fuel rail when i was tightening the egr nut, could it just be a misfire? I broke the part where the little vacuum nipple goes from the sensor body to the throttle body???? I went out this morning and got it to operating temp and there...- lookinglass

It sounds like its where me secondary tensioner is where the noise is from. when I pull the v cover how can i check the tensioner?- lookinglass
