I replaced my stereo. upon first time firing up the car, it took a few seconds of cranking to get it started. at first the little security light kept rapidly blinking, now it blinks in a pattern of one blink, then six blinks the entire time. what is going on? its pretty cold outside, (15F)...

so here is what i should do:
change gaskets (do they come in a set? what are the part numbers? do i need any other minor gaskets?
change spark plugs( which are most suitable?)
change coils (ebay ones are fine?)
change the pcv (now do i change the hose or the valve? and what is the part number?)...
I changed the fuel filter about 2 months ago. What is the pcv hose though?? Im not loosing a lot of oil bit the bottom of engine is pretty wet and i can see a bit of oil burning when i left i open the hood.

well that sucks. changing the coils is a lot of work it looks like. gotta take off the intake manifold and all.. i thought v6 models dont have this problem!!! :(
it started to happen today. when i drive, then slow down, and accelerate again, the car studders and backfires. i have read several forums regarding this but cannot find any answers. is it the transmission? it seems like the car just does not know what gear to shift into.. i doubt its a misfire...
