Suddenly Marks appear. I thought this topic was about TOWN CARS. Talking about Marks: my favorite is the 1978 Mk V Diamond Jubilee. :-)

What is Your Favorite Town Car Style?

Thnx, Dude. You got a nice 97 yourself. Mine is Evergreen (its a Jack Nicklaus, but unfortunately without the golfbag). That 98 next to mine is actually Gray. :-)

What is Your Favorite Town Car Style?

I like the 95-97 most for its ultra-smooth ride. Furthermore is is the last of the BIG classy Lincolns. :-)

Own a dog? What kind? (BIG pics inside)

Bob, I read about Baron before. A very sad story indeed. But you did the right thing, he died at home. I have had 2 German Sheperds before, they also died at home, both at age 10 and 11 respectively, and both because of HD. At this moment I have my 3rd G Sheperd, Ulco. He follows me...

Since I am not a technician, I decided to get myself a more recent (and reliable) Lincoln. So I sold the Mk IV, and bought a pristine 1997 Town Car Jack Nicklaus SE. I had it shipped to the Netherlands in june 2008. It has 80k miles on the odo and it is a delight to drive. :-)

    What is a "Classic"?

Hello Bob, In the Netherlands a car is considered classic when it is 25 years or older. With age 25 all taxes are gone, and it can be insured via special "Oldtimer insurances". That means low premium based on the fact that these are hobby-cars. :-) Jur de Jong.

Nigel, Prepare yourself for the nicest Diamond Jubilees you 'll ever see. Both are premium low-mileage examples. If I had the space and the means, I would buy either one, with a slight favor for the Gold one. But that is a matter of taste. These beauties don't come cheap. Here is the Gold...

Hello everyone, I am Jur de Jong and live in Den Bosch, Netherlands. US cars have always had my interest, especially fullsize coupes. The Lincoln MK IV and V are my favorites. A year ago a dream came true: I bought a pristine example of a 1975 Lincoln Mk IV. I recently gave it a 5 K Euro...
