My 2000 V6 has been making the same fan noise, lseguy. I believe that it is a heat issue as well, since my water pump is going out and the LS has been running a little hotter than normal as a result. Not overheating, just hotter than normal. The fan seems to run MUCH more often now, sounds...

Believe it or not that's about what I would expect from a dealer. Check for it online, I would guess that you could find it much cheaper on eBay, but then you would have to put it in yourself. Good luck!

Well, the front end on my 2000 is only adjustable with shims, so if yours is the same I don't think that you mis-aligned it, however I am always of the better safe than sorry school. Most decent shops will only charge you $20-$30 for an alignement check. Just go get it done for the piece of...

I'm glad to hear that there is one, because my experience with any of them in Indiana has been very, very bad. They installed some subs for a buddy of mine, and get this...they tapped the power for the amp off of the power antenna circuit. I'll stop there... Anyway, nothing personal...

I am really a big fan of doing it yourself. It might take longer, but when it is done it is perfect, I learned something, and I have bragging rights.
