I have a running 93 Mark VIII for sale or for parts. No damage to the body, the issue is the out date registration in CA. I don't want to contend with the CA fees and smog. Exterior is ugly Plum with black interior. Car has 178,000 miles.
I also have a 95 Mark VIII for parts. I have no...
FYI Price Comparison on 3 Valve whipple intake
I was looking to install a Eaton on a set of 3 valve heads I pulled off a wrecked 05 GT. Whipple quoted me $1050 for the lower cast intake that the Blower sits on. This is an aluminum casting with CNC machining for the bolt holes and injector...
your intake design
Your intake design would allow you to adapt an after market bof to use as a boost controller simialir to the Vortech centrifugal BOF.
It's possible to pulley the roots/twin screw so you get large boost down low and blow off the excess at higher rpms' without blowing up the...
around town it's gradual. Out on the highway, when the air ride controler kicks in to lower the car, it just keeps going lower.
I turned the controller off one time to see if the bags held.....and the still dropped. Maybe I got bad bags??? but for both bags to go out at once.
I also let...
OK...I thought I could figure it out, but I can't.
On my 94 Mark, the front air ride goes up fine and stays inflated. the problem is once I start driving it drops down all the way. I'm trying to find the height sensor or how the front establishes ride height.
I'm sure there's an expert...
Roots project....
OK..I'm bored at work. I've also looked at putting 3 valve heads on the block.
I have a Whipple HO on my 07 mustang to use for comparison. I've got 2 sets of used 3 valve heads. One set needs some major repair work. The other set is apart waiting for me to figure out...
I've been working on the same thing
I've haven't had much luck finding a a machine shop that didn't want to charge me an arm and leg.....so I've actually.....training myself how to use a milling machine. I'll post my episodes on YOU-tube....they're good for laugh.
There are a few TVS units...
thanks for the replies...it was a simple fix
I was finally able to get the car out of the rain and get under it to only find the airline and power feed had both been removed from the back drivers bags.
I hooked it back up and the air system works fine. Now for the back fender repair.
At...
$150? for a cobra motor
I'd just buy it for the heads and block if nothing else.
It possible it is a Teksid block. As mentioned in a previous post, one good way to determine a teksid block is to pul the intake and observe how the top of block is machined. Cross hatchs in the valley means...
Bad luck....keep the mark and get the parts...
If it drives fine..I'd fix it. I've got 3 1/2 Marks....I've got issues. 93 runs, but needs work. 95 is great shape, but previous attempted to a valve job and timing it off. 98 well...thats the 1/2 car..I bought for the motor andother parts..it...
I purchased a 94 mark VIII. I got one minor problem. The rear bags are fully inflated and the front bags are fully deflated. I can't get the compressor to turn on.
I've turned off the control module. and cycled the ignition and could not get the compressor to turn on and fill the bags...
