    I just bought a brand new 1000 watt sony amp which i kno isnt quite the best..Its powering two 10" subs in my trunk. I just got it installed last monday. Everything was fine until i decided to turn the bass and volume on max to show my friend how loud it was, and forgot to turn it back...

    what do u have?the piece or the radio,because I went to the dealer to c if I could buy the part and they said they didn't sell them...they also told me that the shaft isn't supposed to come off with the button...is this true?
