Actually had something similar happen, where it would run fine, and then refuse to start at times. Ended up being the key itself...had a tiny crack and wouldnt start the car occasionally. Just something cheap to check out first.

FYI, as of a month ago, the bottle was $180 (local Lincoln dealer). Install is about an hour, so whatever your shop rate is. I thought that I had replaced EVERYTHING known to fail on the LS. I was WRONG!!! Just waiting for the next issue to pop up is excitement in itself! Thank you, Ford...

Actually, then, the LS throttle body is acting similar to a small velocity stack. Might actually work better.

The pic showing the 2 throttle bodies together, they look identical in size. If you aren't going up in size significantly, and you didn't have to port the intake plenum, I don't understand the point. I can see going from 60mm to 70mm, but I cant see any difference between these two.
