My score's roughly around 720.. I'm 24
Things to make your score better.
1. pay more than the minimum payment. even if it's a dollar they recognize it as making the extra effort.
2. don't have a revolving balance over 50% of your limit.. anything over 50% hurts your score. It was said...
That dealer you're going to is a little sketchy..
make sure you inspect everything about the car. I took a look at a few there including that one and was not impressed with them at all.. The chrome on the front bumper was pealing off.. the rear bumper was cracked.. the inside had 4 studs in...
What cam?
My previous car was a gtp that's why I ask.
That engine is very mod friendly.
I wound up putting down 285whp but I never dyno'd the completely setup.
My mod list was pretty good sized... I had ported heads waiting to get installed but chose to trade it in, so they never went...
seems to be a common problem.
I test drove one and the exact same thing happened..
it just cut out completely. Like there's some tranny abuse script that cuts off the power when it thinks you're going to hurt the tranny. or a fuel cut off of some sort to keep you from blowing up your car..
Definitely, I'm not arguing that at all..
I drive a Grand Prix btw. The seem like completely different management systems.
In the Grand Prix the IAT (inlet air temperature) sensor is located just before the Throttle body in front of everything... just after the air box. So basically...
I wasn't going by paper actually.. I was going by personal experience.
My previous car had a supercharger so maybe my numbers were a little more extreme... but I did have a water to air intercooler. With the exact same setup all year I saw consistently more knock in the winter months, with...
if you don't go into the throttle too much I doubt you'd get any knock..
I'd keep it under half throttle till it's gone and you'll be fine.
The colder the weather the better chance of knocking you have any ways..
cold air =more dense..
more air + lesser octane = knock

Hows the 02 sensor in the car... is it accurate? The GM Delco ones would get less and less accurate the hotter they got.. they are narrowband sensors and it sometimes made tuning a bitch. Honestly I'd prefer running a richer condition just for a sliver of peace of mind...
The grand...
I don't even own an LS yet.. just have some questions
From what I've read the engine is a high compression motor so 93 octane is required.
Coming from a SC grand prix that's no big deal. But my main concern with this is the ability to modify the engine for more performance.. and running...
hey guys,
Is there a readily available computer scanner for these cars? Something I can check codes with and maybe other things.. like injector pulse widths and intake temps.. timing..?
I dont want to change any aspects.. just read them
how much do they go for?
Thanks!
