Installed new switch and problem persists! scjmc, are you telling me it's the rain sensor? How do I fix that. This is making me crazy. My mechanic did the install and we are both looking for answers, the spray mechanism does not work either.

Thank you Owlman that was very helpful. I found one on ebay, but the seller does not know if it has the sensor option. Is there a way to tell if it does by looking at it? Or am I better off without it...ha ha?

I am refering to the wiper sensor that activates the blades when the windshield is wet.

I am told these are on ebay, but I can't find any. Can anyone help me with this. They are $188.00 from Maxx. Also is it possible to disable the sensor on this switch?

I need to replace the wiper control unit on the steering column. The wipers will not shut off and the sprayer wont work. It's an expensive part, about $300 can anyone steer me to an inexpensive way to purchase this part. Changing the fuse doe's not fix the problem.

Are you saying that the relay is the problem, and just switch out?

OK Thanks, I pulled the relay under the hood, the fuse box inside is impossible to get to. Problem solved for now. Why do you think it is acting up this way?
