I just installed white face gauge overlays on my 02 v8 LS. I live in Canada so the only ones I could find are the ones from the USA with the large numbers in MPH and the smaller numbers in KPH. This doesn't bother me at all because I grew up in "MPH". My problem is at night when the dash lights...

it's the clock spring. exact problem I was having. Paid the price and got it fixed, glad I did.

well the problem is solved. it was the door latch assembly which included the actuator. I ordered it from Max at 5 star for $136.00. Installed it in about an hour and it works perfectly.

speaking of the bad connector under the seat, is it necessary to actually have the yellow connector or can you remove it and splice the wires together to be sure the connection is good. I had the 3-2 as well.
