I think its normal. My 98 did that too. When the car is in 4th and you let off the gas pedal, it would take a second or so to lock back up. Its just your auto trans for you. My Lexus wit its 6-speed auto does the same thing. 92 LSC AOD is locked 3rd and 4th. Personally I like the locking...

Welcome to trouble free motoring!!!! You wont be changing control arms and strut rod bushings every 10k miles in your car. Make sure the timing belt gets changed at 90-100k and thats about it.

Like others said, I am pretty sure its the door handle. It could be worse...A few times my door fell off completely when I tried to open it. You can imagine how embarrassing that was. :eek:
