i think stock is somewhere near 30psi with the vacuum disconnected.
not sure what you should set it at but a dyno with air/fuel monitering will get it perfect for you. or just play with it go for a drive and repeat until you feel it start to worsen

wasent hard at all
everything is pretty much bolt on except cutting the hole in the tunnel and having drive shaft lengthend or you can get drive shaft spacers.

I've done 2 swaps to date changed my friends 92 over also...
still has the EFI 302
changed to mass-air
cobra intake
65mm throttle body
under drive pullies
and the hood scoop is working Ram-air "not just for looks"
best at the track so far is
14.67 @ 92.06
