you can look on the internet for lincoln parts, you can usually find just about anything you need and there usually cheaper.

your tranny is slipping, try changing the fluid and filter, if that doesn't work then it probably needs rebuilt.

check the shifter linkage on the tranny.

you should check the cam, lifters, valves, crank, pistons, fuel injectors, intake, and everything that deals with the tranny.

if it's like mine it usually runs about 200 degrees.

i would check the altenator, it's probably going bad.

theres not much to it, you have to unbolt the fuel rail and pull it out, then unsnap the retainer holding the injectors on th fuel rail, and thats pretty much it. if you look at it good, you should be able to do it on your own, sorry i can't go furter in depth.

Thats awsome you found one dirt cheap, i don't know for sure if you could drop a 350 in but if it has a 4T60E tranny you should make sure it can handle it, i've heard that those trannys can't handle much power, and i know for a fact that there not real reliable.

My instrument panel cluster started messing up one day, and when i ran a diagnostics check on it an some codes popped up, i looked in my service manual, and i might have to get a new insturment panel cluster and a body control module. I can't even find a BCM, and the price for a new IPC runs...

check the tranny fluid, if it's really dark, you need to change the fluid and the filter. thats the first thing i would check.

the ccr is the computer comand ride module, it adjusts the four struts to the type of terrain that you drive on. and about the interior part it would be better and cheaper if you reupholster it.
