The mark viii swap seems to pretty common from looking at the mustang forums for the non pi stangs to pickup big power with about the same cost as doing the pi swap. I have a 96 gt with 225k on it, maybe its time for a heart transplant. Keep everyone posted and put pics and tips when u run into...

your gonna need to reprogram the scil to your cars key and ignition. i had my own scil nightmare back in December. good luck with it, post any questions you have on here and the help you get is first class! i can attest 100% b/c of the members on here that helped me get my car back running.

Thanks, I can't really afford to take it to the dealer. I have driven it everyday this week and its doing great. My only concern with trying to power up the pcm memory keep alive fuse is that I can't find the voltage anywhere for the pcm, I dont wanna send 12v when it is only supposed to have 5v...

update ok, i have put about 150 miles on it since last week. it still has electrical issues, but the car is drivable. i may post a new thread or just keep this one going. the center tail light i bought is bad, i had to replace the melted brake pedal switch and it was a pain being upside down...
