Looked under my car yesterday, and there was a bit of antifreeze on the front of my oil pan, and a little quarter size puddle, havent seen any since really, Checked the oil none in there, what and where might it be from or caused by?

Read the stickys and search.

One or more of the plastic cooling system parts on top of the engine at the front are probably cracked. Unfortunately, its a common issue with many threads about it here.

Alternately, it could be the water pump. You will have to locate the exact source of the leak. Start from the top and go down. It is certainly not leaking from the oil pan. It is running down to the oil pan from somewhere up above it.

Year? Engine? Almost the whole cooling system is plastic. It could be from any of those or one of the hoses. I've put over $600 in plastic cooling parts into my '03 LS8. It would be best to pressurize the cooling system to find the leak, but it requires a pressure tester and adaptors.

it is a 3.9 v8 2002

You'll have to look around and see where the system is leaking. If you can't see it you may have to have a mechanic put some dye in the system and find the leak that way.

Maybe completely unrelated but its I noticed a small amount above the piping for the oil filter, though maybe completely unrelated I had noticed i was only blowing half warm air when I had to run the heat about a week ago, any chance that is related, or if not I still think it might be a hose near there?

Most likely, it is all related. You have plenty of things in that area that might leak.

Okay, well hopefully my mechanic can figure it out today, I am going to talk to him today when I help my father drop off his Exploder oops I mean Explorer for work to be done
