I have succumbed to peer pressure and will now be doing some mods to my LS. I just got my tint done, repainting my wheels, just got my magnaflow's in and will be putting on some 4"tips also. I ordered hid low beams and fogs from DDM and will begin replacing all the other lights with LED's soon too. I'll get around to some Eibach's soon also but that probably won't be till june or so. I have been thinking of doing a few other things too. Gloss black vinyl on the roof and thinking about painting my mirror's black too. Does anyone have any pics of what it would look like on a silver car? I have scoured everywhere I could and couldn't find one and my photoshop skills are no where near what I was hoping. Can any one help?

I assume your like me. You have a silver ls you were happy with, untill you see these beautifull black/white/maroon/charcoal color cars around here lol. But I too havnt seen a lot of silver cars going for a dark color contrast. Most have played off the silver/Chrome factor. But I'm new here so I may have missed a bunch. Check the official picture thread and maybe you'll run across something.

Yeah, ive been looking for a while without any luck. I think i'm just mostly bored with the appearance and am looking to change it up. Ive had it for 4 years and just want something "new" without buying a whole new car.

Got the exhaust done this weekend. Magnaflow mufflers and 3.5" tips. The cutting was sorta nerve racking but I think it turned out pretty good. Painted my wheels too and am still waiting for the lights to come in.

Looks great man !

are you happy with the alignment ?

don't mean to disrespect ... is the left pipe sticking out a bit more then the right side ?

~ perhaps just the angle of the camera.

Well done, That is the one thing I DON'T like about the LSE rear bumper....hides the exhaust tips. :(

They are set the same. I think its just the shadow. We played with the alignment for 5 min or so to get it perfect.

@5TA1NER,

That's great man, it's on my list as well, however, I've got my list done up in order
of priority and it falls further down the list, around the same time when I get to
the bodykit.

hope to see more of your updates, which reminds me I have to get my camera out
and take some new pics of mine, haven't done much work with it other then simple
little repairs.

I got the lights in and installed. The hids are more blue than I'd like but not a deal breaker. The reverse lights were a huge help with the tint and being able to see at night. They do stay on for a while after the car is turned off though. I know I could wire a resistor in parallel but I don't know which one to get. Anyone else know? Wheels and new tires are done. I like them a lot more each day. Realized I need to sand the lenses on my fogs when installing them too so ill probably be doing that next weekend.

11225. The mufflers you see are still the stock ones. I didn't take photos of the mufflers after install.

you cut holes without the new mufflers on? did they line up?

Yeah. I followed the sticky thread about cutouts. It was right on. Just make sure you have your tips first to measure. That is the most important part. I have experience with exhaust too so I knew that it could fit.

Drove 1200 miles this weekend with the new lights and I must say I am very impressed. Didn't have to turn on the brights ever. I actually think it was darker with them on. I was surprised also because I didn't get flashed once. I am definitely happy with the purchase. I recommend them to anyone who doesn't have them.
