not the most mechanicly inclined person. just looking for a few tips. also does anyone know of any good cheap coils i can buy online?. or gaskets?

ps... if your going to get mad because i asked a question please just dont reply. sorry for not knowing everything

Dude there are many threads on this, probably even in the tech article section which lays out the repair step by step. Alanisdeals(or some variation of that name) on ebay has a set of 8 coils for like $120ish. Other people swear by accel coils (i think they are for a mustang).

There Is way to much to do to make those coils work properly on an LS than he can handle based on threads he had posted

Oh look it's this guy again

If it's the 6, it's a job. Doable, but block out an afternoon and be ready for the unexpected. My "unexpected" was a valve cover bolt that broke when I was trying to loosen it. The reward is an amazingly great running LS when it's done, especially if you have been skipping a bit. May want to search for the PCV hose while looking around as well. It may be causing some of your problems (if the 6 and idling rough)....

... sorry for not knowing everything

There is no need to apologize for not knowing everything. That problem applies to all of us. What you do need to apologize for is your unwillingness to spend ten minutes reading the sticky threads and searching for the answers to your questions. The answers to what you have asked so far are all there, many of them with pictures even. You also need to apologize for being such a jerk with your first post under your first ID.

ive read so much on this forum that i can replace the fuel pump, coils, valve cover gaskets, pcv valve, install angel eyes, know how to wire up a system and what wheels to buy for an ls and ive never owned one in my life..

On V6 if you are doing the VCG & COP/Plugs you remove the intake manifold so you should replace the PCV valve @ the same time.

Funny, all I've learned from the mark side is not to buy one. :D
