So someone on this forum mentioned I should do something about the grill on the LS. Since I don't really have the money to take on the bigger projects at the moment, this is one I figured I'd tackle. About $10 for Krylon Fusion paint and Frog Tape. Here we go!

Nope.. lol

The fusion paint is actually designed for these kind of surfaces. It's made to bond to plastic. I'll eventually get an LSE grill, so hopefully it'll at least last that long.

oh cool. I think i will eventually get an lse grille, but im liking my black grille a lot

I like it too. I was actually considering doing all black like your grill. I went and looked at your other photos too. But in the end I came to the conclusion that it was too sporty, and not enough luxury. I suppose I could just convert it to a Lincoln S. lol

haha. thanks. sporty is what i was shooting for lol.

::Random, but i thought it was cool::

there is an all black 7 series bmw (maybe 08) that my car resembles, and yesterday we were driving one behind the other with the angel eyes on lol. if i had bigger rims, we woulda looked like twins. (angels on, tinted all around, sunroof's tilted)

I plan on selling my current LSE grille once i get a new one to replace it. Its slightly pitted but not too bad.

I like this pic of your car. It's how I want mine to look eventually... with the spoiler.

I'll take a day time pic tomorrow. Right now its cloudy and the sun is setting here in Texas. Turned out better than I originally thought it would. I love the new look. The grill blends sooooo much better than before. Thanks for the suggestion guys!

Did you put any clear coat on? And I know black is pretty universal when it comes to spray paint, but is there a big difference in the black from your car and the krylon on the grille? Pictures can hide a lot to.

+1. If you didn't clear coat it it will pit and chip.

I won't really know until the car is clean and its daylight.

Thanks..thats an old pic actually.

Looks pretty much the same still except for different exhaust. Still working on getting new wheels. And about the grille i will give you a good deal.

Nope!

Love them way too much! Hard to find these wheels and on top of that they are chrome so you may find them but they may not hold air anymore. I just want larger wheels to show off the drilled/slotted rotors better and also getting the calipers and brackets powdercoated if i cant get a BBK on there.

Yea... it has cheap pads on it apparently, and its been raining off and on all week here.

My next two projects are to replace the coils and to change the brake pads and rotors... When that happens the dust storm will stop. lol One of the things I loved most about the drilled and slotted rotors on my truck!

The Grille came out good. The only small thing you should do is clean those headlights, clean them while they're not that bad so you spend less time on them. If only 06 wheels came out in 19 or 20's.

lol... I already did the headlight restore. I was talking to another member about that. I'm going to have to get some professional help on these, because this is the result of about 3.5 hours.
