I know, another angel eyes thread. I was looking at picking them up and saw info on their site about being able to wire them as drl's. It said I need a secondary harness. Curious how anyone else was able to wire their gen 1 lights to work that way if you didnt use the harness.

Not umnitza, but mine are seperate from the othe lights of the car. Mine are on an independant switch. It has a relay

Edit: I use mine as drl's mostly

Thought of that but didn't want to forget about them and it kills the battery.

Understandable. I purposely leave mine on when just running in places quickly, like rite aid or picking up my son from daycare, especially when its getting dark out haha

You can grab switched power from under the hood, or if its low enough wattage, in the fuse panel inside.

How is everyone wiring the umnitza angel eyes? Like where is the ground and positive posts under the hood? I don't have the actual lights on me at the moment so I apologize if this is a stupid question, I'm just bored lol

You don't need any special harness. Just splice them on with the running lights

After a little searching I found that out, but thanks ATrom

There is a ground behind each headlight on the back side of the core support. I'm currently using mine to ground a relay and attach my relay to the core support.

And yes, if you were wondering that is a coil of wires wrapped around my windshield washer tank.
