i go out to start my car today in the cold and it wouldnt even turn over, i popped my hood and couldnt find the battery anywhere. i have an 02 LS... where is the barrety?!?!

Dont you think you should take a look at everything in a vehicle before you even buy it?
First day i got my LS i popped my hood and trunk and looked at everything. The LS has a trunk mounted battery like any vehicle that doesnt have one with the engine.
It keeps the weight distribution even and the battery cleaner as well.

Permission to ask that if you have it, spend some time with the owner's manual. It is located in the glove compartment. It does sound as if you need some basic understanding of where certain important things about your car are located. And definitely learn what fluids are required to maintain it.
You should only use that if you cant get into the trunk.
There is but I believe it is for only applying enough power to make certain functions work but not to actually jump the car. Someone correct me if I wrong on this.

What's more, it's a bulkhead junction. It's only there to get the main positive feed through the firewall without actually running a big cable through sheet metal. While you CAN get a small clip on the end of the threaded rod, it is by no means made to accept a jumper cable or any kind of strong connection.

The Beetle had them under rear seat.
There are plenty of other vehicles that have had them under seats, as well.
On the surface, the battery placement on a Chrysler Concorde would throw most people as well.

Lmao.... The glove compartment is in front of the passenger seat, In the middle of the dash (warning: you must be in the car to access)...

I had a 2001 dodge intrepid r/t and you had to actually take the front passanger tire off to get to the battery!

My 99 STS battery was under the rear seat. And my glove compartment was on the lower right side of the dash. The engine was under the hood I think.

If it had the Northstar engine... I'd imagine the block was on the side of the road somewhere
Yeah just like humvees have a series of batteries under the front seat.
Most vehicles nowadays have it trunk or hood mounted.
Epic fail.
Chrysler learned because my girls 2005 300 has it in the trunk as well.
