i go out to start my car today in the cold and it wouldnt even turn over, i popped my hood and couldnt find the battery anywhere. i have an 02 LS... where is the barrety?!?!

There is but I believe it is for only applying enough power to make certain functions work but not to actually jump the car. Someone correct me if I wrong on this.
The LS has a trunk mounted battery like any vehicle that doesnt have one with the engine.
Dont you think you should take a look at everything in a vehicle before you even buy it?
First day i got my LS i popped my hood and trunk and looked at everything. The LS has a trunk mounted battery like any vehicle that doesnt have one with the engine.
It keeps the weight distribution even and the battery cleaner as well.
Permission to ask that if you have it, spend some time with the owner's manual. It is located in the glove compartment. It does sound as if you need some basic understanding of where certain important things about your car are located. And definitely learn what fluids are required to maintain it.
My 99 STS battery was under the rear seat. And my glove compartment was on the lower right side of the dash. The engine was under the hood I think.
many gm's in the 90's had them under the back seat
On the surface, the battery placement on a Chrysler Concorde would throw most people as well.
