So I went out today to check the blinks of my airbag light and the car won't start. (in reference to my other thread) I have been out of town So I just got to it. all it does is make 2 huming sounds. stero turns on and I heard the air ride start to inflate but didnt. I need help I'm So worried. thanks guys

uh. charge the battery before just replacing it.

+1
check/charge batt,

If batt is good and car still will not turn over "crank".
Check for power at starter, if you have power.... replace starter solenoid.
It gets baked were it is located.

My Kooks headers haven't baked my 145k mile starter solenoid yet. :p Seriously though, try going under your hood and below the a/c compressor is a crank sensor that goes into the timing cover. It has a harness and connector. Unplug it and plug it back in and see if it starts. Otherwise my next step would be to check fuel pressure at the rail with a gauge. Im unclear whether you said yes to the fact that it turns over or makes a clicking sound. Which is it?

+1 on the crank sensor. Just pull it off and spray some de-ox electrical terminal cleaner on it and plug it back up. Very common on Marks.
