Adjustable coil spring kit

Where's the shock? Or, how does it attach to the stock shock?

Looks like a cannibalized set-up; a piece from this a piece from that......

I would guess they go on the stock shock/strut in place of the spring. You can buy kits like this for fox body mustangs. I had a kit for mine and it worked great, not so sure about this kit on an LS though.

Even though some call it a strut, the LS uses coil-over shocks at all 4 corners (a strut, if I'm saying this correctly, is part of the steering geometry and a shock is just a spring damper). Our shocks mount to the spring cap and at the base with one through-bolt. Maybe the threaded cylinder sits on the spring perch? If that's the case this may work......

These will work, your car will not after you install them. I looked into doing this and found nothing but disastrous results from people using these due to the quality of the shock and the load level being significantly less then stock or any other lower spring.

But if you want to try this go ahead...

essentially there is no reason they wouldst work. But the problem would be the quality of the material as in you set them to be a little stiffer and hit a dip and the pressure shreds the threads off or busts the spring cap. then one side just drop down or other issues.

But yeah this just slips over the shock and the spring is adjusted by turning the retaining nut that adjusts the preload.

JVIP, beat me to it

from what I gathered the issue is not the sleeve its the springs and their poor quality and low spring rate. I tossed around the idea that this could be used with a set of Eibachs. However I'm not that smart when it comes to stuff like this so I'm not sure if you can use it, hopefully jcock can chime in.

I figured for the price of them they would have to be garbage. I was interested to see if anyone had tried them at all. I can't imagine anyone in their right mind would be first to try something of this nature at such a cheap price.

That actually comes as a surprise to me, I figured the sleeve would be made out of junk aluminum

And in a world where the sleeve is structurally sound it would work with Eibachs, as long as the retaining nut was not to small where the spring could pass by it. Also this would have to fit rather snug on the shock to not have problems but I doubt it is within a decent tolerance.
