Another will it fit ?

Not sure if it would work even with the rag joint mod.
If someone has done it.....post up a link.

Not sure if its worth it.
I would go for the cobra manifolds before those.
Or look for long tubes and do what Frank "right on the mark??'" did.

I have a set of 03/04 manifolds....PM me if you want them.

Got any links for a long tube set up. Been searching cant find crap.

Very interseting, steering shaft mod and a cheap set of long tubes without even cutting them up. Why isnt every one doing this.

Maybe not, plus you get rid of the rag joint.

That was a 5.0 not a 4.6.5.0 tiny compared to 4.6. And those are shorties not long tubes and he spent 212 just in steering parts. What would be cool if you bought a cheap set of long tubes and did the steering mods to show peeps. Also I already have a drag car I don't want vibs coming up thru steering wheel. I wanted stock smooth.

Thanks for taking my simple question and going a whole other direction with it. Start your own thread or just try to search harder first. Damn noob!

Thanks for those with usefull answers.

I have a set of Mustang long tubes and my boss's motor is out right now. The only problem is they are on my car now. May just have to try this. Lot of work and he already has a set of kooks mids, so it would just be for future knowledge. Will report back.

I'm halfway through a forged Teksid Procharger build. And I implore you all, as my sort of friends, to just swap in Windsor...

NO long tubes for our car! Only mid lengths. Some guy made full lenghts like 5 years ago but does not any more. You can use COBRA (there is that word) long tubes like I did and modify them. Here is my thread on it.

Yep.... that is why I no longer need my terminator manifolds ;)

That is a fact, skip the Windsor though, if a 4.6 fits.....so will a stroked 385 series. :shifty:

Windsor parts are still cheaper and with forced induction will get you enough torque to twist a FN10 unibody into a pretzel. But yeah, a BBF is indeed still cooler.

385 series don't need no stinkin forced induction, just a stroke it and get a head that breathes.

Done.

Any unibody needs to be reinforced.....as you will find out....maybe ;)

But a built 32v 4.6

Pff. Yeah, you don't need forced induction if you have about $15k to dump into a BBF to get it to run 9k RPM. But with a more realistic budget, unless you want "spectator" HP at the TX2K meet, yeah, you do.
