I know that this subject has been beat to death.
The famous auction site ( ...Bay ) has a vendor Alanisdeals who has Visteon coils for $179.99 for 8 and Herlux for $79.50 for 8. Anyone have any history on Herlux?

What do you guys think, should I stick with Visteon?

You could try the herlux coils I mean they're cheap.

I just bought 2 sets of the Visteons. I figured I might as well as it's nearing plug-change time anyway. Might as well head off any possible issues.

Which plugs you get?

I got the NGK G-powers from autozone for $23. Very good deal and much cheaper than the motorcraft branded NGK's.

Bosch Platinum Fusion. I changed mine out about 30K miles ago (at around 55K miles). I just haven't had the time to do my wife's LS yet. I wasn't really in a hurry as her LS has just shy of 58K miles.

I know that most often you get what you pay for.
But the Visteon's are made in Hungary and Herlux probably China. Has anyone heard of the lifespan of Herlux coils?

I posted this in a previous thread but, thought I'd share here also. I bought 8 new coils from aipelectronics.com for $91 shipped. I've only had them in since Thursday (1/1212) and the improvement is awesome. My LS has never had this much response but, that could be because it has all 8 new coils at once instead of the older mixed with the newer ones. They only have a 90 warranty from ship date. I hope they last a lot longer then that and I don't have to worry about replacing them again (hopeful thinking right).

Just replaced the plugs with Motorcraft AGSP32FM and coils with Visteon 60-1008. I paid $20.00 for the plugs on Ebay and $179.99 from Alanisdeals. The car has much more pep, just hope that the coils last.

I bought a set from Alanisdeals and they are doing great. Made a BIG difference. I think they were the Visteons.
