EBay has new hub and bearing for frnt. For $23 ea. delivered. Are they a good brand?

I just bought two on Amazon, timken set for $50 each.
I had a factory one on my car go bad last year and I had to replace it, the only thing I could find at the time was a cheapy so I figured I would just replace both this winter.

National has only been making USA bearings for about the last 120 years or so...they must be crap

I can get National Bearings for the Mark for $16 from Advance, but I get a commercial discount

Are you talking about front hubs? I have account there also. How in the world could they make bearing,flange,hub and 5 studs then assemble for 16 dollars?

Ok still going off that. What about all the fuel needed for the cargo ship from china to here. Then the fuel in the truck to get from port to warehouse then from warehouse to store.

This company (National Precision Bearings)is not making integrated wheel hub assemblies. The one that is as above is from India, and was in a limited partnership with NTN bearings.
What does this mean? I would stick with another Mfg. ie Timken, SKF, NTN, or F.A.G. Bearings . They have better quality.

I use bearings everyday at work... I know what quality bearings cost... and experience has shown Chinese bearings are hit or miss... usually miss.

Dammit what I have I told you about "commercial discounts?" They're BULL:q:q:q:q, designed for one purpose... to deceive the service writers and techs into believing that they got a good deal. They didn't.

FWIW, our shop gets 20% discount at Advanced. I personally buy all my parts from Advanced and use discount codes online and wind up with 40% off retail.

For a Mark I will only recommend NTP. I had the WORST luck with front hubs. I am sure I started a couple threads here about them. I think when I owned the 96 I had put on 3 or 4 sets! The last set was NTP on the recommendation of Advance Auto. From then on, never a problem ever. I think the NTPs were on for 2 years. before that it was every 6 months I had one go bad. I always swapped in pairs and always exercised the warranty.
